  I have used this company before and I was always satisfied with their services. Today I spoke to one of the service people about a noise in one of my fire places. He suggested it could be the attached fan that caused the problem. I asked him if he could come by to check it out and repair it. His answer was that for the initial visit he would charge $ 195.--. In case of replacing a part he would charge again $ 195,-- plus the cost of the part. I was quite shocked and I told him I could not recall him being so expensive. He agreed that his prices went up a little. Well, I checked my last invoice which dates from less than a year ago. It turns out their prices went up by 30%. He calls that: a little. I call that: 'way to much'!!

  I recently moved to a new house and was looking to revamp my newly acquired, horribly outdated fireplace. I was over at a friend's house who's fireplace went from mediocre to absolutely stunning. They referred me to the Fireplace Shop who had done the design and entire build. I visited their shop to inquire about their services and they showed me an overview of what they do and how they do it. I booked an inspection and consultation and they provided me with a complete design. After I approved the cost they took care of the entire build from start to finish. The pricing was fair, not the cheapest but not the most expensive either that I have seen for designs and renovations. They did however provide a lot of value for the money as they had experts in every field from what they called their stone fabricators, to their techs, to their designers. It also made me comfortable that they have been established in the community for something like 50 years and they are fully licensed and insured. Everyone they sent to our house was very professional and caring. They also have the largest selection that I have ever seen in fireplace accessories. I am very pleased with the results and would recommend them to anyone who wants to add new life to their fireplace.
