Had an initial problem with my truck. The owner himself is personally helping me get this fixed. Outstanding customer service from Jim. Will update once fixed.

So I called Yorkdale Ford today because I was interested in trading my vehicle. I can tell you that they have some bad sales tactics. I wanted to trade a 2017 Nissan Titan because last year I almost died from diesel exhaust coming in through the HVAC on a 2016 Nissan Titan that I owned. After battling with the company I ended up trading that 2016 Nissan Titan with the exhaust problem for the newer model, the 2017 model, which is the one I wanted to trade. Obviously this was not Ford's fault. However, because of what happened to me with Nissan, I really wanted to get rid of my Nissan. I didn't want to see any Nissan in front of me anytime soon. With this said, I previously had my truck appraised for $38,000 as a trade. I asked the salesman if there was any way to get me into a Ford F-150 without having any extra payments. Just a simple trade for trade. I told the salesman that I would understand that I would be most likely taking a F-150 of a lesser value then my truck in order to end up with no payments. The salesman told me that unless I end up with some sort of payments that they would likely not be interested in doing a deal with me. So, puzzled with this, I asked if he didn't have any used F-150s and he said they did but they were over $60,000. I said okay, fair enough, I understand, with that cost I would for sure have to pay more but all I wanted was to trade my Nissan even if it was for a lower value vehicle so I asked him how or where can I find a used Ford F-150 that doesn't cost $60,000? and he told me he didn't know. So again, this didn't make sense to me so I asked should I start looking somewhere else for a used Ford F-150? you guys wouldn't have a used Ford or couldn't get one for me? and again he told me that unless I was willing to end up with some sort of payments that they would not be doing the deal. I already owned a Ford Probe, a Ford Windstar, a Ford Edge and a Ford F-150 in the past. That still doesn't make a difference. Honestly right now I don't know where to look . It seems like no matter what company you turn to they're all the same. Since I was a kid I heard about the reputation of a Salesman... this experience just proves once again that The Stereotype is correct.
