  Now to be honest, I liked this store and have bought several items from there many times... But I was there recently and was looking to buy another Pomp & Ceremony tie, which I've bought a few times from here but after my latest visit I was really disappointed with the service I received. After liking a couple of the new patterns available I wanted to get one, but they only had the really skinny tie available in store. Now I know the story of the artist that creates these ties and I know she is local, and I've even had other employees of the store let me know that what ever I liked, if they don't have it they can contact the artist and find out if she has it in stock or can make it. So because they only had the skinny tie, and I was looking for more of the traditional neck tie size, I asked the employee working about getting the other style and she was not having it... I don't know if she was trying to be rude but she shut me down super quickly saying that no... "what I see is what I get, if its not on the table then I'm out of luck..." Normally I'd just take the L and walk away but like I said I've been in this situation before and other salespeople in the store have offered me this service but I've never liked a pattern so much taken advantage of it. So I asked the lady one more time if there is anyway she could find the pattern I wanted in a the traditional style and she rudely shut me down again. I mean I was the only person in the store, so it's not like I was bothering her while it was super busy or something!! HERE IS THE KICKER... When I was still in the store, I googled the brand and found another store on College that sold the local artist's ties, walked over there, they too didn't have it in stock. BUT IMMEDIATELY they told me, they could contact the artist and ask if her if she has the pattern and style I'm looking for in stock. Lo and behold she did. The salesperson at this store, told me they'll have it ready for me tomorrow... WOW THAT WAS EASY and I was stoked!! I was so excited that I bought the matching pocket square!!! Just for some perspective, these ties are $85 a pop... Anyway I won't be buying anymore ties from here now that I've found nicer salespeople that actually help buying customers.
